| | Reviewed by: aguywhoposts, Skier Price Paid: $49.00 Summary: Varied terrain for a smallish area. By no means a beginner only area. Some expert terrain is certified 'gnarly.' An underrated place to take a lesson. A quirkish and inefficiently run area--pretty much like everything else here in the third world. Amazingly uncrowded 90% of the time, but don't come here Christmas week.
A midwestern skier flying out for a quick long weekend trip could do a lot worse than this place. Its more accessable from Albuquerque than the Colorado front range places are from the Denver airport. One hr. to Santa Fe, then a 45 minute drive to the mountain the next morning. Very high altitude--flatlanders beware! Customer Service: Not their strong suit...At least they don't make you go through a security checkpoint like Los Alamos. Similar Products Used: Competes pretty well with Durango, CO, I'd say.

| | Reviewed by: clarksc123, Double Diamond, from Albuquerque Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: Pretty fun place to go since I am so close. If I was from out of town skiing in the area I would probably go somewhere else unless you are learning to ski. It is a pretty tame mountain and good to learn on.

| | Reviewed by: Smitty, DoubleDiamond, from Albuquerque, NM Summary: All in all, a great place to work on all of your skills, although a terrain park would be nice. There's nothing super steep, but there is enough awesome terrain to entertain freeriders for a long time
