| | Reviewed by: Kerry M, Skier Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: Park City is too busy to care about tje skiers who come here. Customer Service: Park City Mountain Resort Ski School was a terrible experience for my son. He had a different instructor each day. Supervisors ignored report cards from previous teachers and placed him in class below his skill level because it was convenient for them. When I protested, the supervisor promised to work it all out. Meanwhile, the class left with my son anyway. The supervisor never called me though he promised to do so. My later complaints fell on deaf ears. We will never ski at Park City again.

| | Reviewed by: dolemite, Advanced, from Orlando Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: Well I rode for a day and half at the much hyped Park City Mountain Resort.
Overall it was an average mountain that can do a massive beating to the wallet on lift tickets (2004 Window Prices were $69 for a full day), SLC shops sold them for $55 so I guess that helps a little.
There are a few good runs scattered across this very spread out mountain but overall really nothing to get that excited about (a few off the King-Con lift were pretty good)
The terrain park was pretty good though.
Take out a lift ticket mortgage and spend a day or so here if you really have to then move on. If you really cannot get out of the Park City area then go hit Canyons right down the street.
I give this place a low rating simply because you do not get back from the terrain and mountain what you pay for a lift ticket here...I personally would have been pretty mad paying $69 for this place.

| | Reviewed by: Latchigo, Double Diamond Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: Came here in Olympic year. Skied it once because it was a nameable resort in Europe... US ski team train there etc.
Snow simply not as good as Cottonwood resorts, which you can reach without a car from SLC. Not particularly cheap. Less impersonal than Snowbird maybe. After that, I mostly stuck to Alta and Brighton.
I never got round to Snowbasin, Canyons or Powder Mountain. Might be an idea to rent a car for a week, try those places and then get the Cottonwood shuttle after you have seen the rest.

| | Reviewed by: crna, Double Diamond, from cincinnati Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: some challenging terrain, especially in jupiter bowl. not at all pleased by the rental company (Ski West) that put me into a property that had previously been someones garage. High Mountain Properties made it right but watch out for the first group. Lift tickets are over priced. Town has all the atmosphere of section * housing.

| | Reviewed by: Erik L, Advanced, from Kaysville, UT Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: Park City is a decent resort, particularly if you are a Utah K-12 student and can get a $99 season pass. But I have to wonder why there are so many tourists there, willing to shell out $63 for a ski pass, when Alta is closer to Salt Lake, has a heck of a lot better snow, and costs $25 less. But if you are on a trip to Utah, maybe spend a day or 2 here; and then hit some Cottonwood Canyons resorts for some real snow and skiing.
3-stars for value because good for a season-student-pass, but expensive otherwise.
3-stars for overall because nice lifts, but crappy snow and lots of snowboarders.
