| | Reviewed by: g75401, Snowboarder Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: I like WP a lot, but, as many have said, you gotta come on a weekday-the weekends are packed. I don't stay at WP,we have a cabin in Grand Lake, so I can't speak to the lodging. I prefer the MJ side as many have said. I also snowboard and don't particularly feel that WP is a skiers mtn-but I know to avoid Vasquez Ridge because the flats to get there or I go with my skiing hubby and have him tow me. Watch out for crusty winblown snow.... Customer Service: The restaurants-both Snoasis and Lunchrock have a fairly varied menu

| | Reviewed by: jaymunro, Double Diamond, from West Chester, PA USA Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: Thumbs down on WinterPark/ Mary Jane. If you like anything steep and rugged, go elsewhere (Copper, Vail, Abasin). I couldn't find one chair that was worth working for more than a few runs, and that was with a 100 inch base. I can't imagine this place when the snow isn't deep.
Overall, if you are an advanced skiier/rider, there are a lot better choices in CO. I got bored so quick.

| | Reviewed by: mafoo , Double Diamond Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: grooms on the parkside are alright, not real long burners, but not bad at all. janeside is tip top for bumps and trees, but not the best for the beginner. the bowl gets good snow and has a variety of riding types for everyone. cirque, eh... backside parsenn has nice and steep trees, but the ride out is a pain.

| | Reviewed by: LANDY LEON, Advanced, from CORPUS CHRISTI Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: MY WIFE AND TWO YOUNG BOYS REALLY ENJOY COMING TO WP. WE GO TO OTHER PLACES BUT SEEM TO ALWAYS COME BACK TO WINTERPARK. THE SNOW IS ALMOST ALWAYS GREAT AND A GOOD VARITY OF RUNS. MARYJANE IS FUN WITH THE BUMPS. NOT MUCH NITE LIFE BUT WE GO TO SKI AND BOARD. IF YOU WANT TO PLAY AT NITE THEN GO ELSEWHERE. IT'S SO QUIT IN WP THAT I MIGHT RETIRE THERE IN A COUPLE OF YEARS.

| | Reviewed by: hardbump, Double Diamond Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: First time on skis for the kids (5 and 8), very impressed with the ski school. Went in mid Feb. had decent coverage, but the surface was scratchy (almost ice). Never experienced anything close to ice out west. Never groomed any trails except the race courses. Wish my knee wasn't complaining, so I could have skiied more bumps. Good deal on lodging/lifts/ski school. Not planning to return.
