I went to ski with Points North and I got skunked due to weather. When i asked for my money back, they said they don't do refunds - but that I'd have a "credit." Several years later a friend of mine wanted to ski Alaska, so I called and asked if I could transfer the $1500 I had paid to heliski that I hadn't used, and they said no. I said my friend might not be able to come unless he can use my credit, and they said, "that'd be his loss." Just a poor attitude. Customer Service:
Not happy with customer service. Seems like if you're in the "in crowd" in Tahoe or something then everyone's a bro, but if you're not, they give you attitude. Similar Products Used:
I've heli skied in Haines Alaska and had a much better experience. I'd recommend Haines over Points North any day. Just didn't like the vibe at Points North.

Absolutely the best helicopter skiing in the world. I have been tried 14 tours worldwide and this was the most exciting and authentic.

My girlfreinds and I were unsure about heliskiing in Alaska. All you hear about is the extreme stuff. The Points North crew was amazing! They let us pick where we wanted to ski and it was waste deep everywhere we went. On down days we skied at the local chair lift along with a million other activities they have for you. Their lodge is beautiful! The food, well lets just say we all gained 10 plus pounds. I would recomened them to anyone. Similar Products Used:
We went to Canada before and their is no comparision!

You've got to try heliskiing in Cordova. The lodge is great and you fly directly from your front door. No buses, shuttles or roads like the other operators in the Chugach.
