It Is not a World Championship Quality resort despite having hosted World Championships in 1993 and a World Cup Snowboard event in 1997. It is not exactly a bad resort either. I will buy a season pass this winter which is a bargain at 40,000 Yen(apprx.460 USD). The Japanese Alpine and/or Snowboarding Championships are held here almost every year, and there is a reason. If its cruising along and skiing fast you like, few Japanese resorts can compete.
