Summary:
Perisher does the best they can with limeted snow cover, they have increased their man-made snow capabilities recently.
All in all its a fun place to go for a week or weekend, as long as your not looking for powder heaven.....

Summary:
Variety is the strongest point for Perisher Blue with all areas accessible on the one lift pass. Blue Cow is great for beginners. Can be too crowded in peak times in Perisher Valley.

Reviewed by: Andrew Glover, Intermediate, from Sydney, NSW, Australia

Summary:
OK, let's face it. Not too many people are going to embark on a powder searching mission to Australia, the land of deserts, bush and kangaroos. But for us locals who are saving up to go elsewhere, this resort almost does the job as a temporary fix of riding. It really is a matter of timing as to how good it can be. August is the safest bet, but rain and wind can easliy screw up your weekend/week. Lift lines can become ridiculously long (up to an hour) in school holidays, and it can almost be quicker to walk up the slopes of front valley if that's all that is open. Save your cash and go elsewhere people, that's what I'm doing!
