Summary:
A group of ten of us from Vail went in Feb of 2000. We stayed in Durango at a couple of peoples houses. I slept outside on his pourch and was nice and warm. The first day the guides wanted to figure out our level. He didnt realize that we were ready to be scared. We kept making him take us to big cliffs and he kept saying it would slide. We finnaly convinced him that it was going to be o.k. and they let us do what we wanted, That means 20-30foot cliffs. Our Second day they took us to a different part off the mountain that they had never explored. THat was good. Tree shute runs with some small drops and we even had the Cat shape us a kicker in like 5 minutes at the meeting spot. We went threw 3 guides in 2 days. They were all exhausted after we left. I would go back again with a group of ten.(they Give Group Discounts)
