I spent about 7 days here during Christmas. We flew into Munich and took the train to Schladminger. Form there we were taxied to our hotel/bed and breakfast. This place was great and I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to get the feel of traditional Austrian life. The people were great and there were no trendy bars or tourist traps like the ski resorts in the US. This place was also extremely reasonable. We were able to ski litteraly a hundred slopes on the same pass. Bus fare was included in the pass fee. Not that you need to take a bus to many areas. The people were so friendly and accomodating too. GREAT local beer. There is just too much to say about this place. But we will be back...sooner or later. Our bed and breakfast was called the Lindenhoff...This place can not be given enough credit for there attention to service and affordable rate. Where else can you get a healthy breakfast and a five course gourmet dinner everyday included with your stay !!!!!
