DO NOT MISS STUBAI GLACIER!!!!!!!!The snow, the views, and the terrain parks are all among the best i have ever seen. I was there during the week in Feb. 2001 and did not experience any significant delays on the gondolas except once when i waited til the last minute to take it down to the base. i'm sure lines are worse on the weekends. if you're a beginner, take a few lessons at an easier resort such as paschterkofel first, so that when you do the glacier, you will have a more enjoyable experience. i don't really have anything negative to say about Stubai.

Summary:
Last time I was there was in 1995. Very good, really different and unique place with excellent snow conditions. Crowds are more polite than places close to Innsbrook. But needed upgraded equipment five years ago. Would be outstanding if there was more trails to valley, but this would require snowmaking and a major investment. Check it out if in area.

Summary:
This is a good resort for summer skiing, but on winter weekends expect to do lots of queuing. They definitely need to upgrade the lift system. So go during the week and outside of Autrian holidays

Summary:
Go here if there is no snow in Innsbruck and surrounding areas. Its about 1 hour from Innsbruck. It's glacier skiing/boarding. Definately an experience but don't expect any sort of terrain. Overall, still a fun time for a day or two.
