| | Reviewed by: Steve, Advanced, from London UK Summary: This is a good beginner's/early intermediate resort. There are plenty of easy blue and easy to average red runs on which to build confidence. The ski school was excellent, as was the atmosphere on the mountain and in resort. Getting round the mountain is simple. Most average intermediates will find terrain limited after a few days. We bashed virtually every run on the first day. No real challenges for advanced or expert skiers although there is some OK off piste. Would not recommend this resort to skiers of above good intermediate level who want to ski from dawn to dusk. For less experienced skiers, definitely worth a visit The night life is good, but again a little limited with only a few lively bars/clubs. Scenery is better than many resorts Ive seen, and some of the mountain restaurants are pretty good, especially in the sunshine. Good intermediate to advanced/expert skiers looking for challenging slopes/off piste combined with excellent apres ski typical of Austria would be better choosing St Anton or if wallet allows, Lech or Zurs.

| | Reviewed by: stephen strand, Advanced, from Newcastle England Summary: I always stay at the tirolerhof, but their is also other hotels just as nice, but it does'nt matter where you stay its only to get your head down, most of the day you will be ski-ing snowbording or down at the pub, which there is plenty of. Plent of apre-ski bars dotted around the slopes, which play some great loud music and you can dance till your hearts content.

| | Reviewed by: beto fly, Beginner, from mexico city Summary: There is lot more besides america...Zell am See is a good example. You can start the day with a typical austrian drink called Glühwein (hot and sweet red wine) it gives you lot of energy and courage to ride any terraine. After some hours riding you are gonna be starving...Mittelstation is a beautiful and couzy lodge hosted by wieser family where you can enjoy different homemade dishes. The atmosphere is super cool...dont miss it.
