I've just returned from a trip to Innsbruck where I enjoyed skiing 2 of the days at Axamer Lizum durning my stay. The snow conditions were great due to getting in new snow. The terrain is mostly intermediate, which made for a great first day to ease into the ski season for me. The runs are fairly long and there is a way to ski top to bottom via just ski lifts (to avoid taking your skis on and off for the cable car). There is a separate side that has only advanced skiing runs, but the snow was not as good at the time I was there on that side of the mountain...choppy and some rocks. Overall, this was one of the best places I skied out of the Innsbruck area.
