| | Reviewed by: Paul De St Paer, Advanced, from UK Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: Excellent fun. In the two times I have visited the snow has been excellent with masses of powder and lots of off-piste opportunities given the size of the resort. The queues are almost non-existent (I don't ever remember waiting more than about 60 seconds to get on a lift) although this may well be because it is a 30 minute bus ride from Fugen at the base of the valley and probably more from places like Mayrhofen (although it is included on the valley lift pass). They are trying to connect it to Kaltenbach, allegedly, so we will se what that brings.

| | Reviewed by: Alan, Intermediate, from Munich, Germany Summary: A very good little resort with reliable snow and lots of excellent off-piste potential.
They are building a second gondola up the mountain on the opposite side of the valley from the current main area - when that's finished this place will really be excellent.
Frequent closures of the access road are a problem, but all the other Zillertal resorts (Mayrhofen etc) are within half an hour by car or bus, so there's no question of being stranded with nothing to do.
I visited this place on a Sunday after being at St Anton & Lech a couple of days before. I found the low-key atmosphere a relief after the intense, commercial skiers' fashion parade that is Arlberg.

| | Reviewed by: Lucy Sandys, Advanced, from London, UK Summary: Great skiing / boarding - relatively uncrowded, especially on left hand side of valley - great powder! But why shut a perfectly good run just because it isn't pisted? Beats me!
