Summary:
Please don't go to Morzine. The people are suspiciously interested in how much fun you're having, there's never any (cut up) powder, they don't piste black runs or slow you down in bumps or anything. They like snowboarders and speak a strange language. There's too much garlic in the food and you can't buy an expensive bottle of wine. Please leave it alone for those who don't know any better and maybe it'll go away.

Summary:
I have never been to a friendlier, nicer or better resort
with even half as much skiing. Everyone who goes there seems
to agree with me aswell. Spooky.

Summary:
A real all-year-round town with friendly people. Improved links with Les Gets gives better access to a wide range of local slopes - no need to brave the crowds in Avoriaz. Look out for special weekend lift pass deals on the Morzine/Les Gets sector - 2 days for 10UKP/16USD has been seen! Efficient bus system between the main lift systems but a car really opens up the possibilities of the Portes du Soleil region.
Less than 1hr30 from Geneva airport.
