Summary:
First let me say that this is not the place to go if you are expecting to hear lots of American English spoken. That is a good thing it adds to the foreign feeling of the place. The whole place is above the tree line so you can ride everywhere. If you've only ridden the Northeast it feels wierd to be so exposed. The trails are just the areas they decided to groom, everything is rideable as opposed to the trails actually being trails through trees.
It is one of the coolest feelings to look out on hundreds of miles of snowcovered peaks while you are building a kicker in 3 feet of powder. You are riding where it all started and I bet you'll want to stay a lot longer than you first planned.
The town is cool too with lots of bars and places to eat. The bar scene is wild and goes all night.
If you are on the East Coast and are considering a trip to BC or the West Coast think about a trip here it costs about the same.

Summary:
Superb resort. More runs than you can shake a ski pole at, money is constantly being re-invested, brilliant powder and always has snow.

The most beautiful resort in the area, this valley has the best slopes and off-piste runs in the Trois Vallees.

Summary:
Don't go there if you start skiing or boarding..it's to exspensive and you can't ride all the slopes, but it's fun for advanced people
