| | Reviewed by: Kai, DoubleDiamond, from Helsinki, Finland Summary: Must go back!!! During good conditions heaven for advanced skiers, during bad conditions hell for anyone.
Regarding my skiing skills: That double diamond is in US scale, in La Grave scale I'd hardly be anything but a measly cross country skier.

| | Reviewed by: Erik Vännman, DoubleDiamond, from Voiron, France Summary: If you have trouble finding good and challenging skiing in the other french resorts, then good to La Grave. You will not be disapointed. But if you want, high-life, groomed pists, and sun please go somewhere else. This place sifts the wheat from the chaff.

| | Reviewed by: Jean-Luc Pêcheur, Advanced, from France Summary: For good skiers/snowboarders only, LA GRAVE is not a usual resort: Just an gigantic mountain with powder everywhere!!! From 3550m to 1350m, you can ride just where you want to. Try the St Christophe Trip: You'll never forget it! Anyway, the whole spot is unforgettable, that's why I met Doug Coombs, Kent Kreitler and many others up there!!

| | Reviewed by: Brian, DoubleDiamond, from Leucadia, CA USA Summary: Just go! If you like the steeps, varied, heavy terrain, like small out of the way places, enjoy french county culture and value solitude while on the hill, get your ass to La Grave. Just don't tell them I sent you. Make sure you are in good shape. Just because the chimney smoking French can charge top to bottom doesn't mean your granola-mowing ass will be able to do the same. It rocks hard and the physical beauty of Le Mieje is awe-inspiring. And if you need some luxury you can always join the masses at Les Duex Alpes down the road.
