Price Paid: $0.00

Summary:
I felt that, when compared to the other Italian resorts that I had stayed at (Folgaria and Abetone), Tonale was by far the best. Granted, there is little in the way of black runs but the number of off-piste jumps, moguls and challenging sheet ice in some areas does give you much in the way of 'extreme action' For those of you about to go, try the toboggan run or half-pipe.

Summary:
We loved it. Probably not lively enough for groups but great for couples and families. Skiing great for our level but not much for experts. Bonus is that snow is great late in the season.

Summary:
It may be cheap, but as rthe old addage says - you get what you pay for. Go to one of the bigger Italian resorts if you are want to snowboard.

Reviewed by: David Nicholson, Advanced, from Bournemouth UK

Summary:
A good resort for beginners and early intermediates, but not much for more advanced skiers. However, the skiing at Ponte di Legno (including a long scenic run down to the village) is a real bonus. The restaurants are reasonably priced especially when compared to France.
