Summary:
I skied here during a ski safari, with much of the skiing off-piste. I thought the piste skiing uninteresting and the slopes crowded, nothing approaching the Rockies. If I return it will be on a hut to hut tour.

Summary:
First Time last season, going again this year. We wen't when there was very little real snow, but still 90% of resorts open on the Sella Ronda, and found ourselves applauding the Resort & Snow Making Facilities every day. Fantastic Atmosphere on and off the slopes. Lets hope for fresh tracks this year.

I was here only once, in 1982, but it is still the best ski area I have ever seen. Hope I can return someday.

Summary:
This was our 1st time to ski in Italy and we had a great time. Selva is an excellent place to access the Sella Ronda and all the resorts near(Val Gardena,Alta Badia,Arabba,Val di Fassa,etc.) Intermediate skiiers heaven, outstanding scenery, execellent food.We skied/snowboarded for 13 days, and explored alot of different terrain. Stayed @ Hotel Olympia - excellent food,great location (150 yards to lifts). Snow was great for 1st 10 days , then got warmer so slushy in afternoons.EXCELLENT scenery.Great value.
