I went to Flims in the last week of March 2001. Weather was very bad except for the last day. A significant number of lifts were closed all week. Ski area is very big (220 km of runs) and lifts are modern. Some restaurants in skiing area are very nice, but a considerable number is awful (too big, too much concrete etc.). It takes much time to get all the way up to the glacier. As the village is at 1,100 m, expect bad snow conditions on lower runs. There is no après-ski in the village apart from the Iglu bar. Village itself is charming with lots of old Swiss houses, especially in the higher parts.
