Villiar is an easy drive from Geneva, and has really nice people. It's quite family orientated so don't go here for the apres ski. Gringos, the night club has a pretty limited playlist, so head home, sleep and ride the mountain instead. Villar has lots of lifts , a mix of t-bars, chairs and pomas. Not alot of tree skiing though, and the snow was a bit thin in Dec 2000
