Summary:
NB for 2001-2002 the proposed lift to the very top of punta idren is NOT finished.
alagna is only for very serious, very experienced riders equipped for self rescue. one guy went down a crevasse four feet from me. we had radios and phones but they did not work at that spot. you MUST use a LOCAL mtn guide or you will get in trouble trying anything interesting like the malfatta or vitoria couloirs

Summary:
I spent 8 weeks in Alanga this spring (March-April) Pretty nice location! Old cabin to the very top but a LOT of ways to go down. Try out the Malfata run on the backside och Col´de Oden in the valley. The "town" is SMALL, even by US standards :)
