Summary: In general very well located with the half pipe right next to the main bar on the pistes. Friendly snowboarding crowd. Plenty of pistes both easy and hard and many good off piste areas with plenty of fresh snow, 2 metres in some places. Also 'natural' small half pipes in one of the wooded areas! You could go up the "Orso Bruno" and return off piste starting with a very steep open part going onto a wooded area full of jumps! Good, friendly snowboarding teachers at a very good price, when we went £50 for 10 hours of lessons in the week at intermediate level, lessons included going in fresh snow and tips on jumps etc.. Also Marilleva in 99' was host to the world championship snowboarding competitions. From here you can also get to Madonna di Campiglio which held the championships this year 2001! From here you can connect very easily to Folgarida aswell.
