| | Reviewed by: 1981, Intermediate Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: Just a couple of hours driving from Athens, this resort attracts a great number of Athenians wanting to do something active for the weekend.
On Saturdays and specially Sundays, it should be avoided at all costs. The ques to get on the lifts are ridiculous (it takes more time to get on the lift than it does to go up the slope and ride down) and there are so many people loitering on the pistes, that its almost impossible to get a decent run.
The food at the challet is overpriced and something to note is the bad music through outdoor speakers around it.
If you are planning a visit, try to avoid the nearby village of Arahova, as this too is overpriced and a place to be seen more than anything else.
On the other hand, this is a big-ish resort by Greek standards and when the snow conditions are good it can make for a fun day specially during the week when it is quieter.
Advanced greek riders can be found here, and multiple diy kickers specially left of the central double lift (right when riding down from the four-seater).
It is also a good place for learning as most of the runs are not very steep.

| | Reviewed by: Paul, Advanced, from UK Summary: Mt Parnassos has snow from January to April. Where in the world can you ski, and have the sea under your feet (Beaches are only 100 km away). It's magic.Total contrast! Snowy mountains facing blue seas! If you find yourself in Greece, go and pay a visit. It is an experience you will remember!
