Summary: I went on a weekday, and we left the Tel Aviv area at 4am to get to the gate at 6.15. The site opens at 7, and the lifts start at 8. We paid our fees - for entrance, hire, skipass and a locker, which come in total to nearly NIS 500. The ski slopes wern't packed, but the cafes were, so don't faf around, and stay on the slopes. The food is poor, not kosher, not cheap, and with a line and a lack of eating areas, but the skiing was good, and a great bonus for this little country. The hired skiis and boots are what you would get in Europe.
Customer Service: Mediocre/utilitarian. Queues to get in were not too bad, and the lifts were not so busy, since most visitors are non-skiers, who were kept separate from skiers.
Similar Products Used: As for the skking, the Hermon holds it's own vis a vis medium sized resorts of Switzerland. But the facilities and apres ski are less good.

Summary: I am very fMILIAR WITH mT. hERMON, THE sKI RESORT, SINCE IN 1968 I TOOK OVER THE (SO CALLED SKI SCHOOL) and later on the ski rental shop. I also was the first one to teach the IDF to ski in 1973 on mt Hermon. It was a tough area to ski and teach, since every Israeli thought he was a ski expert and took the trails from the top with the most devastating results. It was an interesting time to work there for 10 yrs

Summary: This resort is incredible. At first sight, you wonder if you are in slops in Europe or in the holyland.I am 15, I went to this resort to see how the ski was.
Well eventually the place itself is of a rare beauty however there are no trees at all, just rocks. When you arrive the place is rather scrapy , there is a fast-food and the place where you take ski is old and dirty. But when you go outside, you enjoy being in israel.I was so hot I skied in jeans and I have no idea how the snow was still there. From the departure point there are plenty of skilift which have no particular interest but as soon as the slops get more difficult there is no one(israelis do not know how to ski so they basically stay where it is easy.
When there is no crowd it is fantastice, the view is terrific and the ski is as good as in Europe.
Skilift are slow and old but I had a lot of pleasure going skiing in ISRAEL.
