|  | Reviewed by: Nick Edwards, Intermediate Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: As ski resorts go, Pyha is probably not worth the effort unless you are already in the area - i.e. Finnish skiing is very low key compared to the Alps, USA etc. That said, Pyha is okay for intermediate skiers although both advanced and beginners are not as well catered for. There are several nice runs and the resort is always reasonably quiet. The facitities are adequate - bars, hotels etc - but not great. The bloke in the ski hire shop with the beard has an attitude problem - he was really obnoxious to my other half, accusing her of not being a competent skier (she was having problems with her hired carving skis - he had set them up wrong). Total w*nker...
