Summary:
Think people are way too hard on Aviemore.

If conditions are good then it can offer some pretty damned good boarding in a variety of terrain.
I guess the trouble is that to see these good conditions, you have to be in a position to visit at relatively short notice, which isn't always easy what with work commitments and all.

Last year, I had 3 excellent days at Aviemore...... blue skies, calm conditions, and plenty of snow...... even had plenty of untouched powder to be found.

Summary:
This is a good resort if you come from scotland and you dont mind being beaten to death by rocks, but if your used to nice long powder runs dont bother comin here. And leave the slopes free for me to ride all day long.
