Summary:
Though I had to wait three days for weather good enough to allow the helicopter to fly, when it cleared we had two feet of fresh powder. Great terrain, friendly guides, perfect skiing on this day. In a way, better to try heliskiing at a resort than in a lodge; if you can't fly, ski the mountain. I hadn't skied powder much before this, so I was assigned a special guide, just for me.

The guides were cool, helpful and resourceful. The snow was awesome. The price... well, it is heli-boarding.
