| | Reviewed by: Campbell Jones, DoubleDiamond, from Hamilton, New Zealand Summary: Big commercial field as far as New Zealand goes but seems like a small club affair compared to big US and European hills, plenty of room to move if prepared to hike and is generally a primo place to ride. It got it all with regard to what different people like, you can ride the groomed trails or head far far away and hike for hours, you can be a girl or go massive, its all here and its up to you. Dont come here if you cant ride.

| | Reviewed by: Geoff, DoubleDiamond, from Killington, Vt USA Summary: I caught Treble Cone a couple of years ago in late September. I mostly ignored the front face of the mountain with the high speed 6-pack and hung up on the saddle doing the Double chair to surface lift to snowcat loop. Lots of fun chutes and natural half pipes. It's not all that much vertical but it has enough acres up there that you can be pretty entertained. For an advanced skier, it's probably the best in NZ.

| | Reviewed by: Steve, Advanced, from Sacramento, CA USA Summary: This place blows. I enjoyed the view for about 15 minutes, and realized the 15 minute view was not worth the drive there from queenstown...It definitely wasn't worth the snowboarding. If you like zig zagging on a hill this is the place for you. Especially if you like really short runs (maybe you're old, maybe you're out of shape) Or if you like runs where when you have to turn all you can see is a huge dropoff. There really aren't any trees on most of the main face, so you can't gauge how far the trail will drop you off if you decide to go off the trail. ...As the New Zealanders say "you can never please an American" ...well what do you expect with parks in New Zealand like these? Don't go to NZ to ski, just go for a vacation.
