Summary:
Mt Taranaki is a great mountain to climb and ski.
With a guide (especially Ross Eden, local) you are able to climb the mountain in a very secure way.
At the summit you´ll get a marvelous view all over the Taranaki region. Skiing down is very thrilling too!

Summary:
If you come to Taranki don't expect to find the field open, even if it is open they don't tell any one half the time so they can have it to them self.
But on the right day this place goes off.
