| | Reviewed by: mcfiddlesticks, Snowboarder Price Paid: $65.00 Summary: wachusett has potential. the terrain is, on average, intermidiate. the park staff doesn't understand physics and the ski patrol can be over zealous. there is no more half pipe. and it is extremely crouded. if the conservationist's would let them put more ski trails in and let the public ride the woods it would be AWESOME. but because the mt. is on state land, administration is held back. Customer Service: because the mountain is usually packed, the customer service gets a lot of practice, and is therefor great. they have a ski free garuntee where if you dont like the conditions you get a voucher for another ticket. Similar Products Used: iv been all over the place searching for the best mt. for riders. my fav's are loon, mt. snow, jay peak and croched.

| | Reviewed by: george carlin , Double Diamond, from west boylston, MA Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: ive been skiing at wachusett all my life and ive been racing there for about 4 years and u really gotta be a diehard to ski at wachusett, you have get up early to and be willing only to ski from 9-10:30 so u can dodge the crowds, the food is gross and a rip off beyond belief, but what ski resort food isnt? the century (season) pass is an amazing deal and is worth every cent. sure they only have 2 black diamond trails but they are really sweet trails and only take about 2-3 minutes to cruise down so by the end of the day you can go tell u buddies u skied 40+ runs that day and ur still up for more
even the blue trails are a lot of fun and allow u to work on ur skill the trails are a lot of fun and the lodge is pretty nice, it would be perfect if there werent so many kids and beginners there blocking all the trails, oh and also the ski patrol ppl are losers, oh well, i love wachusett!

| | Reviewed by: cecivic, Beginner, from Beverly, MA Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: As an "advanced beginner", all the blue trails were too steep for me. I stuck to Ralph's Run all day. I went on a Saturday and it was packed with people. Waits at the lifts could be as long as 5 minutes. To me, that's an eternity.
