| | Reviewed by: woodsguy, Double Diamond Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: Sunapee used to be a good resort. Then they built the new lodge and started advertising more. Now it is way too crowded and the ticket prices have soared. If you don't get there early then you will have to take a shuttle bus from the distant parking lots. Then by noon all the snow is skied off. Its not big enough for the crowds it attracts. Sure its closer to Boston but for the money I will drive a little more to a resort that is not so crowded. | | Reviewed by: Heidi, Intermediate, from Newburyport, MA Summary: We skiied Mt. Sunapee yesterday and it was the best skiing ever! Tons of snow, some deep stuff and no ice! Of course nothing is perfect...sometimes there wasn't a staff member to "corral" people to the lifts and this created chaos. And what's with the families who set up camp in the main lodge? Why are these people allowed to store all their gear and coolers under and around the tables? Maybe someone could show them to the locker room. And let's enforce the "brown bagger" rule....get these "table moms" upstairs so paying customers can sit down to eat!!

| | Reviewed by: joe lomakin, Advanced, from boston,ma,usa Summary: Great mountain. Its not that big, but all the trails are excellent. Not a lot of really challenging trails, but there is a bit of tree skiing
