| | Reviewed by: go_eat_paiste, Intermediate, from Rochester, NY Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: Great snow! They seem to have the nice snowjets. It is a large resort with tons of trails to find. DO NOT GO ON THE EASY ONES! They are totally flat and if you board and dont feel like walking a bit then dont do it. Other than that the trails are nicely groomed and the terrain park is kind retarded. I think maybe it was just too expensive tho.

| | Reviewed by: Mark, Advanced, from NY Summary: Gore has some really fun trails, like Showcase, Lies, and others at the top. The tree skiing is great on pow days, you can always seem to find the fresh. Just dont get caught poaching, or bye-bye ticket. The terrain park could use some serious work next year though. Gore would be a great place if it wasnt for the ski patrol. I've never seen such a bunch of power-hungry a$$holes. They will rip your ticket for doing anything, poaching, "going too fast", inverts, you name it.

| | Reviewed by: Carlos, Advanced, from Babylon Summary: grew up here. Its a great place to start, big enough to not get boring on multi day visits, and the terrain will challenge you up to double diamond. If you fall on Rumor, you accelerate, so watch it! Lies is supurb, steep windy and holds snow better than Rumor. Mogul heads need to wait for big dumps of natural. The management has really woke up in the last few years. There are new lifts and runs every year, and (finally!) sno-guns are used to the limit. The problem with the saddle flat spot will have a ski around this year, according to plans. That one lousey review notwithstanding, the lifties and patrol are really good, and management improves each year. In the bad old days they tried to keep you out of the trees and on the ground (no aerials) but now they build glades and jumps! Big change for the better. The Snowboard Team Roks!
