| | Reviewed by: PowderNut, Intermediate, from Long Island N.Y. Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: This is one of the best resorts around in the New York Catskills area. Yes it can be crowded on the weekends but have you seen Hunter lately? At least this place has high quality lifts and a staff who knows how to operate them. The runs are well groomed and are maintained great. If you go on a weekday you will be in heaven, the lodge is very modern and is also well kept and they're are plenty of helpful and nice people there to help you with anythng you need. Just talk to some of the staff there they know where the best runs are and are quick to help you out. Just watch out for the ice that builds up on the large trail runs by late afternoon and this place is sweet.

| | Reviewed by: dubstar, DoubleDiamond, from Long Beach Summary: Find the tree runs and you will be very happy...numerous natural railslide trees exist...I just found a perfect 15 foot tree slide that is about 4 feet off the ground on the end and trail level at the start...it drops you off into a NICE section of open woods that you can ride full speed through...you need the powder though. Steeps are challenging if a little short...Wedel (pronounced with a "v") is great, ride the sides for untracked snow, little chutes, and snow barrel drop-offs (also leads right into the park), Wolverine is fast and steep, plenty of challenging combinations if you are willing to look around and hike a bit...seek and you will find! Watch out for rain, though...

| | Reviewed by: Rob Case, Advanced, from Gilboa, NY, USA Summary: the moutain has and has had a halfpipe and the designers of this website have been greatly missinformed..i would suggest this over the neighboring hunter moutain due to a more family oriented environment and better snow conditions
