| | Reviewed by: Courtney, Intermediate, from St. John's, NF, CA Summary: My first time down the slopes was at Marble. They have excellent trainers, and the employees are super friendly and nice. Marble got me totally addicted to boarding, and every year I go back for more. It could always have more slopes. Never hurts to have more slopes!!

| | Reviewed by: Mark Reccord, Advanced, from Halifax, NS Summary: This is a great hill! Terrain that will challenge anyone regardless of skill level. Where else can you ski a 1600 ft hill on double diamond trails from top to bottom, get right back on the lift and do it again for $30 (Canadian, about $18 US) a day? I was there for 6 days in February and we got 2 powder days with more than 20cm of snow each. Great steeps, bumps and cruisers. Lots of backcountry available if you hook up with some (very friendly) local rippers. I would highly reccommend the Cat Skiing on the Blomidon mountains just west of Corner Brook as well. It's the only cat skiing in the east and it rules. See the review in Powder Magazine from a couple of years ago. All in all it's a great winter vacation area with no crowds and great prices! I would reccommend Marble over most of the Quebec hills including Tremblant and St. Anne!
