A must after a good snow storm. Crowds are not an issue, the price is very reasonable, there is a distinct New England character--skiing the way it used to be. Night skiing is great. Locals dominate the scene so an out of state license plate will attract a lot of attention. Bring your snowshoes or x-c skis for some other fun. Be aware of changing conditions and scope out the scene before you purchase a ticket since the grooming is minumum and the snow is 100% natural. No artificial tastes or colors!!
