Summary: Saddleback is my favorite mountain!!! It is beautiful, the people are very, very friendly, it is never crowded, and had some great trails (muleskinner, powderkeg, bucking bronco: But I think they've changed hte trail names). I almost always see moose on the access road. Rangely is a great town.

Summary: A good alternative to Sugarloaf, especially on the weekends or after a good snowfall. On the east (left) side of the mountian there are many classic New England trails. They are steep, narrow, and twisty and have no grooming or snowmaking, they can be challenging and fun. For the best challenging terrain on the mountain check out Muleskinner, Nightmare Glades, Powderkeg, Upper Silver Bullet and Sundance (which is hardly ever opened).

Summary: Saddleback is a great place for family and for snowboarding. There are very little crowds so you can let'em run with out much wories of 100 people scatterd all over a slope when you come over a pitch (Sunday River). Don't expect much, but great snow and beautiful views and a lot of people wearing CB jackets and jeans. You have to love that!!
