Summary: This was an excellent small area, if you wanted to make some turns in the evening. The ski area had some challenging terrain if you knew where to look. There were a couple steep shots at mid-mountain and also a rarely skied trail on skier's left. It was narrow and challenging.

Summary: Not as bad as these other two reviews would have you believe. Yes, the terrain is limited. Yes, the base lodge (which is halfway up the hill) is run down. Yes, it can get a little bare in spots.
BUT...
The people are friendly, it's close to home (Massachusetts) and it's incredibly cheap. No, it can't possibly match up to New Hampshire's top notch resorts, but that's not how Temple Mountain should be viewed. Instead, look at it as a neat little alternative to Wachusett for some quick mid-week runs, or on the weekend when going to Wachusett is reminiscent of a day at the Registry of Motor Vehicles. Temple's a dive, but it's a cool little dive.
