This is for hugh and Jacque. They are either terrible skiers or poor pranksters. I have skied in the Austrian and Swiss alps while living in Europe for approx. 4 yrs. and while Cloudmont might be a place that occasionally has snow, it is no place to consider a ski resort. Alabama should stick to a form of skiing that best suits it...H2O. There are some great waterways in this state.

Im not sure where the previous 3 people skied, but I dont think its Cloudmont. Skiing Cloudmont is like skiing your driveway, they are the same length and pitch. Quite possibly the worlds worst ski area.

This is a real treat coming from Tennessee. It beats Ober Gatlinburg hands down and is well worth the trip. Be careful if you dare to ski the steep back bowls and please contact me if you find my ski.

Overall a world class resort, especially when they have the margarita bikini skiing contest every March. I recommend that every person who is an avid skiier must check out this event at least one tme in their life. If you do, it is guaranteed that you will do it each year for the rest of your life!

I have skied Aspen for 15 years and it doesnt compare to Cloudmont. World class, and I never want to ski Colorado again after this experience. I am thinking of buying a slopeside condo here. Make sure to ski the double black stuff off of lift two, I never had an experience like it.
