| | Reviewed by: Derrick , Intermediate, from Atlanta, Georgia Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: It's the only "ski resort" in Georgia if you can even call it a resort. It sucks and it's expensive for the quality of dirt, uh, I mean snow. They try to make snow but needless to say, you can't do much on FLAT runs even with snow. Wasted my money, just suck it up and at least drive to North Carolina for some better (not by much) slopes. For all the eastern US people, Vermont is your best choice.

it's a ski resort in georgia....
exactly what do you expect?
it's reasonably priced, they blow snow as much as they can, they have a nice lodge with a bar, and it's a short drive for anyone in the area. If you're looking for fresh powder, a killer half pipe or double black diamond runs, you should probably save your money to go out west...

| | Reviewed by: Patio Mendino, Double Diamond, from Athens, GA Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: 1) this is a ski resort in GA. don't expect Utah or Colo!
2) this is a fun place to just go and ride. I can get there in 1.5hrs and hit kickers and have some fun, get dinner on the way home, and it only takes 6 hrs outta my day. The next closest resort(cataloochee) will have me driving 6hrs round trip.
3) if you know how to have fun sliding, this place is alright. the "powder posers" need to stay at home!

| | Reviewed by: Carter Hubbard, Advanced, from Atlanta, GA, USA Summary: This place is not all that at all, actually it sucks. But if you've got a buzz, are in the area, have some time and your board, go build a kicker and have some fun. Be careful though you might use all the snow on the hill for a kicker, so leave some for a trail to it.
