Summary:
This mountain is by far the best in pa, and one of the best i have ever been to. the lift lines are short, the trails are very challengeing, and the manegment is great. some people will tell you to go to elk, but i think that place sucks. the trails there aren't near as dificult as montage's. the only bad part about it is they are now opening at 12:00 pm

Summary:
Montage is a good mountain for skiers looking for a cheap place to ski. Their double black diamonds aren't even worthy of being called a trail however. Smoke, Boomer, and White Lightning have only one steep face that are only about 50 yards long, full of "moguls" that are more like trenches. Each of the trails are more like cookie cutter trails that are all nearly identical, which you get very bored with. All the trails there basically follow this pattern: hill, flat area, hill, flat area, hill, flat area - by the time you start to feel some excitment the hill ends! Drive an extra 30 mins to go to Elk, well worth it!!!

Summary:
In my opinion Montage has some of the best skiing in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Other than Elk Mountain, it is really the only place for some decent vertical drop in PA. Get first tracks on White Lightning or Boomer and you'll be hooked.

Summary:
Great for all types of skiers. Has one of the steepest slopes in the east. Great terrain park and large snowtubing area.
