Summary:
I just went over the weekend, and it was a good mountain! I liked the trails, and the variety offerred. Conditions were great. The only problem was the long lift lines, and the crowded slopes. I found myself continually getting stuck behind groups of people who were all snowplowing very slowly (regardless of the level of the hill - I know that is to be expected on the greens), and obviously still learning because they didn't look at all in control, making me nervous to pass them.

My favorite resort (in the east)! Awesome trails with the highest vert. in PA. Beats all other PA resorts by far. Longest runs in PA also

Summary:
Without having gone to every mountain in the area, I think I can still award Blue with the best all mountain riding in this area. The runs are long enough that you don't think you're on a neighborhood hill and the various terrain is at least entertaining. Other mountains may beat Blue in certain areas, but Blue probably gives the best all-around package. It's not going to get a 5 star rating (no place in PA should), but if you're in the area then it's worth a visit.

Summary:
Go for the great skiing and go mid-week if possible. For a ski resort so close to a major urban area, BM does an excellent job. If your looking for a romantic get-away, go to Elk, but if you want CHALLENGE, go to Blue Mountain and touch the sky. I give this 4 stars as a mid Atlantic resort.

Summary:
Not a bad place, there are others around the same area that take a bit longer to get to but are a bit better, but overall this mountain is worth trying atleast once.
