| | Reviewed by: gscoles, Intermediate, from Princeton, New Jersey Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: Bear Creek was a good place to spend a saturday. I hate going to ski and spending all day waiting for lifts - that did NOT happen at Bear Creek. The slopes weren't crowded, and I didn't spend all day being cut off by other skiers or borders. Not the most difficult mountain, but great for someone at my level!

| | Reviewed by: r mair, DoubleDiamond, from reading pa USA Summary: DOE MT. is now under new ownership!! Now called BEAR CREEK! This is the biggest 'strength' meaning that the old owners who left the ski area never kept up with the times, were inhospitable and downright poor. The new owners are much friendlier and are trying to bring the mountain back to its once thriving family oriented ski area. It's worth a visit, if for nothing else, just to help em out in times when many ski areas south of New England are suffering and eventually closing.

| | Reviewed by: lee, Intermediate, from pottstown, pa usa Summary: last year doe mt became bear creek. bear creek seems to cater more to boarders and bladers with more big jumps than when is was doe mt. bear creek is a good place to learn and it is fairly economical.

| | Reviewed by: Hassan, Beginner, from lansdale,pa Summary: Just starting out, I really like to use this mountain to build my skills, especially if you go in the middle of the week. I have gone a couple of times after work and the place is very uncrowded, which is ideal for the beginner. I am comparing this to my first time snowboarding at Blue mountain, which may not be fair, but Blue seemed way too crowded, but had better snow.
