Reviewed by: winter-1, Double Diamond, from Oley Pa USA

Price Paid: $0.00

Summary:
Outstanding. As a race coach, I visit a dozen different ski areas every year. Ski Denton was on the list this year and at first I wasn't happy about traveling so far from our hotel (45 minutes) to go to a small ski area. However, this was about the only ski area I actually stuck around at after the race to get some free skiing in with the kids on the team.

Reviewed by: David Lush, Advanced, from Coudersport, PA, 16915

Summary:
I learned to ski at Denton Hill back when it was run by the state. True, it's not a resort like what's found in the poconos or Vermont, but it's a great value, and the terrain is such that once you master it, you're ready for almost anything in the East. Yes, it has it's drawbacks (mediocre food, no bar, lack of facilities close by) but there's tons of outdoor activities nearby, and for the person who just wants to ski, and ski hard, Ski Denton is hard to beat! I admit, I'm biased as it's very close by to me, but, I have skied other areas in N.Y. and the Canadian Rockies.

Summary:
It is nice because it is steep and the trails are a bit longer than my home slopes of Seven Springs. It isnt bad to visit once, but don't travel too far!

Summary:
skiing at Denton was a waste of time. I recommend you go somewhere else.
