| | Reviewed by: Travis the Great, Advanced Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: the slopes are pretty good, but let me tell you a story about them. One day, a cow broke loose from Arizona and bit a large earthworm in half. The non-eaten part turn to the cow and bit him. The cow became so angry that it turn into a headless rooster. Than a X-Wing starfighter shot the rooster with an ion cannon. The headless rooster became a messy mess of polyatomic particles. Luckily, Alberta Einstain fixed him and created the chickenless head. I like skiing alot.

| | Reviewed by: GeoffM, Double Diamond Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: Excellent overall mountain, ICY! As others said stay away on weekends and holidays when DC crowds come, It's elbow to elbow skiing. Pack your lunch and let in the car, the food is terrible and very expensive for what it is.

| | Reviewed by: John R , Advanced, from Baltimore, MD USA Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: After a several year hiatus, I returned to skiing in the 2001-2002 year at Blue Knob. It is among the more challenging hills in PA and if you improve and excel at Blue Knob, you can ski comfortably anywhere else in the mid-atlantic. Beginniers and early intermediates will like Mambo Alley and Run Out, which uses all 1050+ feet of elevation. Jack Rabbit, Upper Rt. 66, Expressway and Deer Run will bring joy for the higher-intermediates/low-experts. A favorite intermediate drop is the one found on Upper Shortway. The truly advanced will want to try lower shortway, Lower High Hopes, Lower Rt 66 and Extrovert. Also, don't neglect Stembogen and the bowl. If you can ski Extrovert without falling, you can handle anything, anywhere!

| | Reviewed by: Jayme Meredith, DoubleDiamond, from Princeton Junction, NJ Summary: As I mentioned in the strength's, this is PA's best ski resort. I grew up in Pittsburgh, and this is was mypreferred ski resort.
This is a true skiers mountain. You won't find any bowling alleys or arcades here (i.e. Seven Springs), and the black diamonds are true black diamonds (unlike the Pocono's). The double-blacks are tough, especially when they get bumpy (which they do quite often).
As per the other reviews, not everyone shares my opinion; but, I ski Blue Knob every chance I get.
Feel free to email me if you have any other questions.
