I really enjoyed the resort. The food was great. I loved the horseback ride through the woods. Great place for hiking too!

Summary:
I ride here all the time. The lifts are decent, the runs aren't great, but for VA, they're alright. I work the lifts, and the staff is always helpful. Te mountain overall is not too bad, with some stuff to do, and plenty of people on vacation

Bad, bad. Do not patronize this resort until they build more long runs. Ug!

Summary:
A good place for beginners. The slopes did not look very challenging past the intermediate stage. Plus there were only 2 black, 2 blues, and a couple of greens that were barely sloping.

Reviewed by: Doug Clayton, Intermediate, from Woodbridge

Summary:
The food is expensive in the main lodge. Bring your own. On the weekends lift lines can be very long and the ticket windows are packed too. As for the skiing. I enjoyed myself on the slopes. Snow is as good as it can be for VA. If you want to Snowboard don't even try to rent one unless you want to wait in line for over 2-3 hours. Even then, you'll get a wet pair of boots. Nearly all the boots were wet. The Snowboard instructor we had was very good though.
