Summary:
I had the misfortune of breaking my pelvic bone and hip joint while skiing at Schuss. The ski patrol was outstanding in their response and professionalism. Several were nurses and EMT at their full time jobs. All were friendly to the point that when they learned I hadn't eaten and it would be a while longer before the ambulance arrived, they all contributed parts of their own lunch to me. I learned that the Schuss Mountain Ski Patrol had just been selected as the best in the country for a resort of that size. Well deserved.

Summary:
Shanty Creek is a great place for the family. They have intermediate terrain and fairly long runs that twist through the forest. The snowboard parks are pretty fun too.

Summary:
Schuss cannot provide good service to the crowds they attract. Despite Rockies pricing, there are long lines for
the lifts, food, etc. The staff is surly and listless. A bit too much ice considering excellent snow.
