Summary:
Indianhead is a great midwest hill-it has great real snow-not that manmade stuff. There are a variety of trails-and most skiers stick to the main runs-so you have lots of wide open space-the new ungroomed powder run is great!

I love boarding at Indianhead. Everyone is so friendly and the new terrain park is awesome.

Summary:
They should rename this place Skateville, cause that is about all you do. You skate on the greens, blues and yes, the blacks. The hill has nice height for the midwest and the runs are long but there is absolutely NO pitch. I thought I was skiing up hill most of the day. The terrain park is weak too. If this place didn't have crazy amounts of light powder they'd have nothing. Oh yeah, its not 225 miles from Minneapolis like the web site says, its 275. Don't waste your money.

Summary:
This is the most interesting area hill. All the slopes steepen at the bottom, frightening beginners -- the truly easy runs at the east are almost never open. The headwalls are short and fun for the intermediate to advanced skier.
It takes a full half-day just to explore all the runs.

Reviewed by: Tom, Advanced, from Winona MN

Summary:
Indianhead is a near twin-sister to Duluth's Spirit Mountain-- similar layout, slopes, pitch, and wide intermediate terrain, (while somewhat dull for experts.)
A good midwest ski area.
