| | Reviewed by: meatballsmasher, Double Diamond Price Paid: $0.00 Summary: buck hill sucks!!!! i dont care if it is one of the closest hills to the cities, it is still a waste of time AND MONEY! there is really only 3 runs (putting up a little plastic fence in the middle of a hill does not magically create another run. when you can see the bottom of the hill you are "snowboarding" (actually only carving twice before you are back in line at the lift) on from the very top it is insane to pay more than $10 for a day pass - even more of a waste considering after 4 when the sun goes behind the hill/bump the entire face of the slopes turn to solid ice. that and the park is rebuilt maybe twice a season and i think that is about the same about of times they groom the other TWO RUNS!!!!

| | Reviewed by: Jim Way, Intermediate, from Burnsville, MN U.S.A. Summary: Buck Hill is definitely a good place to go if you are just trying to get out for the year and get the rust off you. It is a great place to learn to snowboard too, they have a great learning program were you not only learn the fundamentals but you learn tricks too. It's a great place for beginners because you can practicaly ride every hill.

| | Reviewed by: E Chan, Intermediate, from Minneapolis, MN, USA Summary: It's a nice local place to get some skiing or snowboarding in. Parents can drop off their kids and go shopping down the street in Burnsville Mall. School is well-programed.
Too small to get do serious skiing or snowboarding. Sometimes icy.
p.s. (If you meet someone though, there's a Fanta Suite (love hotel) accross the street.)
