Summary:
go afton, go afton, yea afton rules, it's so much better than any other area in the area. Take a look at all the other mountains in the area they have what, like 4 to 5 chairlifts and about 15 runs, look at afton we have 18 chairlifts and 48 runs 6 rope tows and 5 chalets, pluse we have state of the art snow making which allows afton to open 11 runs before the others can open 3, it has a high quality pipe dragon and 25 snow groomers and the fastest chairlifts around, no one can compete, locals rule, we don't take kindly to outsiders, afton rules!

Good place to go, I still prefer Chestnut Mt., Galena IL, since I live in Iowa and Lutsen and Colorado are too far to go very often.

Summary:
All is good at afton. I will be an afton rider. Place is well worth it and the price isn't bad at all... Other than the crowds the place is wwell worth going too.

Summary:
It's a great place if you are a local just trying to get some practice in for a big trip out to colorado or werever. It's also a good place to have big groups of your friends get together and have a blast. And the early season rates are great, you get way more runs for your money than some other Minnesota resorts
