Summary:
I started skiing here 20 years ago. I have downhill & telemark skied here and snowboarded here. I live in southern Minnesota so this is my hill of choice. I have lived out east and in Colorado but for Minnesota this resort probably has the most challenges for central and southern Minnesota. Snowmaking is average but grooming is above average.

Summary:
It is always worth the trip to Welch if you live near the Twin Cities. Lift tickets are a little more expensive but they always have something good

Summary:
This is one of my favorite places to board. it's within 45 minutes of my place and the prices aren't that bad. when i go snowboarding i leave early so i can get to the place when it opens and stay till they kick me out. so i feel that i get my moneys worth. i do wish that the had more board parks but a place can't be perfect right.
