| | Reviewed by: Erik Anderson, Advanced, from Burnsville, MN, USA Summary: I love Lutsen Mountains for both downhill and cross country. Nearby Cascade Lodge is also great for cross country. In the summer, Lutsen has plenty of activities as well. http://www.bwca.cc/activities/skiing/downhill.htm

| | Reviewed by: Scott, Advanced, from Finland MN, USA Summary: Lutsen is a fine midwestern resort, keeping me entertained when I'm not out west. Living nearby, I do get the "cream", but even the "bad" days are tolerable. It is "off the beaten path", so entertainment is limited. Lutsen is still an old time "ski" hill, but I think snowboarders are accepted. They have a boardercross in March and had night riding for the local school snowboard club(they don't have ANY night skiing/riding).

| | Reviewed by: Nick , Advanced, from St. Cloud, MN, USA Summary: After spending days snowboarding there I realized that I sharpened my skills by at least 110%. Moose mountain gave me more courage to do more daring things that I would have never done before. The runs are good in the morning, icy by noon. The runs on Moose are just perfect and just get steep at the end of the run to give you that last burst of speed so that you can make it back to the lift. I visited this place over six years ago and it was a memory to last a lifetime. After this visit, I'm overwhelmed with what the mountain taught me.
